KSZ Transport is on the brink of a new chapter in its growth.
After a year of preparations, the company is ready to take significant steps in expanding its service portfolio in 2025. Richard Valkenburg, Commercial Director of KSZ Transport, shares his excitement about the plans: “The first quarter of 2025 is one I’ve been eagerly anticipating. We are expanding our fleet once again, searching for a road transport freight forwarder, and making a decision about our new location. It promises to be an exciting and enjoyable year.”
Broader Service Offering for Diverse Sectors
One of the key strategic goals for 2025 is to expand into new markets, including the construction sector and the agricultural industry. This move aims to establish the company as a versatile logistics partner.
The new services will be supported by an advanced IT and planning infrastructure, enabling seamless integration of these expansions. “We listen carefully to our customers’ needs and continue to develop tailored solutions for them,” says Valkenburg.
Culemborg: A Strategic Hub for the Business
The location in Culemborg, opened in November 2024, plays a pivotal role in KSZ Transport’s strategy. Onur Arslan, Managing Director, previously explained that the choice for Culemborg was made deliberately due to its central location. “We shorten the distances to our customers, which not only enhances the speed and reliability of deliveries but also reduces our ecological footprint,” Arslan stated at the time in Distrifood.
Practice has now confirmed these benefits. Valkenburg adds: “Our deliveries are even more reliable, and our data shows that the average distance traveled has decreased. As a result, our emissions have significantly improved. This is an important step toward our sustainability goals.”
Fleet Expansion
In early 2025, the fleet will be expanded with ten new trucks, bringing the total number of vehicles close to 100. This not only boosts capacity but also reinforces the company’s image as a reliable logistics partner. “The demand for our services is growing, and we see this as a great compliment from our customers. We are doing everything we can to maintain our top-level performance,” Valkenburg emphasizes.
Job Opening: A Road Transport Freight Forwarder
The company’s growth ambitions also bring opportunities for new talent. KSZ Transport is looking for a road transport freight forwarder who brings experience and a strong network, as well as the drive to establish a new department. Valkenburg states: “We’re looking for someone who gets excited about organizing and coordinating road transport in markets we’re not yet active in.”
New Location in Progress
Finally, KSZ Transport is focused on the final stages of its search for a new location to facilitate further growth. Key requirements include the potential for an on-site charging plaza, a modern warehouse, and sufficient space for new employees. “We are currently in the final stages of discussions and hope to share more news soon,” concludes Valkenburg.
With these ambitious plans, 2025 promises to be a year of progress for KSZ Transport. The company demonstrates its readiness not only for growth but also for a future centered on sustainability and customer focus.
