A major step towards fully emission-free retail transport
On 1 May 2025, KSZ Transport formally signed an order for 20 fully electric MAN E TGX 4x2 tractor units with MANA Bedrijfswagens bv.
The deal came about through Fred van der Heijden, for years a familiar face and a valued contact at MANA. This purchase is not only a logical next step but also a milestone in our sustainability ambitions.
The vehicles will be delivered in the first and second quarter of 2026. The electric tractor units will be used for inner-city retail transport – precisely where the benefits of zero emissions are most visible and most keenly felt. This investment fits our long-term strategy perfectly: greener, newer, forward. “Anyone who does not dare to invest now will inevitably be playing catch-up later,” the management says. “Like it or not, we are all in the middle of a changing landscape, and you have to anticipate that.”
“Our customers and partners know that we are committed to electrification,” says the KSZ Transport management. “With this order we are making that tangible. And it is not only about the vehicles. It is also about working with parties such as MANA Bedrijfswagens. Together we want to gather data, build insight and keep improving what we do. Because only together can you really make a difference.”
The choice of the MAN E TGX is a considered one: a range of 500 km a day offers plenty of operational room without compromising on deployment or efficiency. This step means a substantial reduction in our CO₂ emissions and underlines our commitment to clean, future-proof logistics.
